Goals
We aim to collect one million pounds of ocean-bound plastic by the end of 2023!

This 1 million pounds will:
Create ~30,000 fair pay workdays
for people in povertyStop about half a million pounds,
or more of plastic from entering the ocean
Impact Assessment Report
Pounds of Plastic Collected
We collect about 25,000 lbs of plastic every month! That’s about 1 million water bottles kept from going into the Ocean or being burned!
Fair Pay Work Days Created
Every 100 pounds of trash collected creates about 3 fair pay work days.
Reading Programs
We believe that reading is essential to learning, and can be a crucial piece in breaking the poverty cycle. Because of this we have started a Repurpose library giving an opportunity for our workers and their families to have access to good reading material.
Recreation Programs
We believe that it’s very important to play! Thanks to Spikeball for donating Spikeball sets we have been able to teach the families of our workers to play Spikeball.
Silverio
Silverio is 88 years old and doesn’t let his age stop him from creating impact. He has lots of children and grandchildren that live with him and he loves the opportunity to help support them by collecting plastic.
Edith
This is Edith. She lives right next to this ravine that is used as a landfill in the community. A few years ago she lost her husband to this ravine when he fell down it one night. Before she started collecting plastic for us, she wasn’t able to provide for herself and relied on the generosity of neighbors. As people come to the ravine to dump plastic, she collects it from them which stops it from going into the river and ultimately the ocean.
